Wish I could say something ridiculously incredible happened this week but it was pretty chill. We got to teach a new investigator in the Frisco 6th Ward. He's in his teens and he was friendshiped by the
young men in the ward. He asked them tons of questions while they were on their scout camp High Adventure. He seems really interested. He has a lot of support from his friends but not so much from his family. So it will be a long journey for him but it looks like one that he is willing to take on.
The work is going well in the Young Single Adult Branch. Even though we just got dropped by one of our investigators, Sister Awerkamp and I are not deterred from teaching and inviting as many people possible to come closer to Christ.
Also I would just like to say that I agree with what The Church's stand on the Supreme Court's decision on marriage and how even though our country's law may have changed this past week yet it does not change God's doctrine that has been given to us and I know that it will never change.
I'm glad I get to understand the importance of the gospel as it plays a role central to the happiness of family everywhere.
Love,
Sister Baker
